Ciudad de la Luz was born from the desire of the director, Luis García Berlanga, to reindustrialise the Spanish audiovisual sector. Working in collaboration with various producers, such as José Antonio Sáinz de Vicuña, the project has become a reality thanks to the support of the Valencian Autonomous Government. Aguamarga Gestión de Estudios has been responsible for the management of the Ciudad de la Luz studios since 2004.
