On August the 10th began the shooting of ‘¿Estás ahí?’ at Ciudad de la Luz, based on the successful play of the same name by Javier Daulte, it has been adapted to cinema by Pablo Fernández and the film director Roberto Santiago.
‘¿Estás ahí?’ is a nimble and fresh comedy about love, death and ghosts. Fran (Gorka Otxoa) and Ana (Miren Ibarguren) have just moved to live together. Their flat is old and uncomforatable, the chaos reigns, the moving boxes are all around , the are problems with the heat… But that's nothing compared with what they find in what they suppose to be their new home: a ghost!
Besides the two protagonists, Gorka Ibarguren Otxoa and Miren, the film features a cast of supporting actors led by Carme Elías, Miguel Rellán and Luis Callejo.
It is the fifth feature by Roberto Santiago, director of successful comedies like 'The longest penalty shot in the world' (2005), seen by over a million spectators and which won a Goya nomination for Best Screenplay. He has also directed 'Happy Men "(2001),' el club de los Suicidas '(2007) and recently,' Road to Santiago'(2009).
‘¿Estás ahí?’ is produced by Manto Films under the executive production of Ibon Cormenzana (Arcadia Motion Pictures), and Gonzalo Salazar-Simpson (La Zona).
