 'The Impossible' presented at Ciudad de la Luz

With the shooting of ‘The Impossible’ Ciudad de la Luz film studios reaffirm its international activity after five years of operation and more than 50 films of all genres and styles.

    In this large cinema complex have worked some of the most influential figures in audiovisual world scene such as Francis Ford Coppola, Jean Jacques Annaud and Bruce Willis. And there have worked also some of the most important spanish directors and actors such as Carlos Saura, Bigas Luna, Penelope Cruz and Antonio Banderas among others.

           Bayona's new production adds to the group of big international productions so prominent as 'Asterix at the Olympic Games' with Alain Delon and Gerard Depardieu, 'His Majesty Minor' by Jean Jacques Annaud, 'My Life in Ruins' by Donald Petrie and international actress Nia Vardalos, "Io, Don Giovanni 'by Carlos Saura,' Triage 'with Colin Farrell and Christopher Lee or' Tetro ' by Francis Ford Coppola.

         For Ciudad de la Luz and the city of Alicante it is a great honor to host the filming of this international co-production because, in addition to the presence of two world-class actors like Naomi Watts and Ewan McGregor, we have fully operational one of the most modern and innovative facilities in our studies: the water tank.
