From August 18, the Ciudad de la Luz industrial audiovisual complex will host filming of the national production ‘Un buen hombre’ by director Juan Martínez Moreno.

The new film by Martínez Moreno, responsible for the comedy ‘Two Tough Guys’, stars Tristán Ulloa (‘Sex and Lucia’, by Julio Medem), Emilio Gutiérrez Caba (‘Common Wealth’, by Alex de la Iglesia), Nathalie Poza (‘The Other Side of the Bed’, by Emilio Martínez Lázaro), Miguel de Lira (‘The Sandman’, by José Manuel González), Jorge Rico and the Argentinean actress Noelia Noto.

‘Un buen hombre’ tells the story of two close friends who are professors at a law school. One day, Vicente (Tristán Ulloa) suddenly finds himself watching as Fernando (Gutiérrez Caba) kills his wife. Unable to go to the police, he cannot understand let alone forgive his friend, not even when the latter reveals what led him to commit the murder. Vicente, despite being an eye witness and, through his silence, an accomplice, orders him to disappear from his life, and that of his family, forever.
The double morality of the two characters and the juggling of interests that transform Vicente into an active accomplice give rise to a series of events that result in nine deaths.

Film number 27 to be filmed at the complex

‘Un buen hombre’ is the 27th film to be filmed at Ciudad de la Luz, and the fifth production to be filmed at the industrial audiovisual complex, following ‘Siete Minutos’,  ‘Mentiras y gordas’, “Triage” and ‘Castillos de cartón’, outlined in the agreement signed by Ciudad de la Luz with the producer Tornasol last November. The Alicante-based Castafiore Films and the Galician Milú Films are co-producing the film.
