Since Monday the 17th may, Ciudad de la Luz welcomes the filming of the movie "Criminal. No retorno. " It's the directorial debut of Argentine Miguel Cohan known for his work as assistant director of Marcelo Pineyro, author of the film 'The Widows of Thursdays' filmed in Ciudad de la Luz in 2008.

 After being three weeks shooting in Buenos Aires the crew will use the sets and facilities in Alicante for 11 weeks between assembly shooting and disassembly.

 The debut of Cohan has a budget of 2.8 million euros and has a prestigious roster of Argentine actors as Leonardo Sbaraglia ('night rider' filmed in Alicante studies in 2008), Bárbara Goenaga ('The Carlota daily '), Federico Luppi ("Martin Hache') Slipak Martin ('The signal'), Luis Machin ('The Revolution is an eternal sleep') and Ana Celentano ('The Widows of Thursday') among others.

A legal thriller
 
 'Criminal. No return 'is a thriller that revolves around the story that unfolds in the city of Buenos Aires in which three men join their lives in an unpredictable abyss.

 It all starts with an accident: Matías Fustiniano (Martin Slipak), returning from a party at his mother's car, runs over a young rider. In a state of shock flees the scene. Hours later, he lies to his parents, invents the theft of consistency and making the police report. Victor Marchetti ('Federico Luppi') hit the boy's father, refuses to be passive witness to the death of his only son.

 Thus begins a crusade by the courts and the media in search of justice, believing that the only thing that will give meaning to their lives is to find the murderer of her son and send him to jail.
 
 Federico Samaniego ('Leonardo Sbaraglia'), that night participated in a confusing incident with the young cyclist minutes before his death, he is soon identified as responsible for having run over and abandoned.
