The story happens before the Great Depression and follows the life of David Bourne, a successful young American writer, and his beautiful wife, Catherine, on their honeymoon in Europe. Catherine soon becomes impatient and begins to test the devotion of her husband, pushing the limits of her imagination. Then appears a seductive Italian girl who joins the erotic adventures of the Bourne.
