Synopsis
The miniseries tells the creation in Valencia in the early fifteenth century of the first psychiatric hospital in Europe. The sanatorium was founded by Father Jofré, aided by the socially influential Vicente Ferrer, who intervened to receive support from the Valencian nobility.
There is a love story between a Jewish doctor and a woman of noble lineage that weaves the plot of the film which unfolds with a prominent historical background, the signature of the agreements of Casp that determined the designs of the Kingdom of Valencia, and the Crown of Aragon.
