 Première 'La Dama Boba'

 

It was the first movie that was filmed in Ciudad de la Luz. Directed by the filmmaker from Alicante Manuel Iborra and starring José Coronado, Silvia Abascal, among others. The proposal is based on a classic play from the Spanish Golden Age by Lope de Vega. The film is the result of the collaboration of three producers from Madrid and Valencia; PC Flamenco Films, DeAPlaneta and Belén Gómez PC. It was also the first production made in Ciudad de la Luz that was realesased in cinemas and won several awards after its participation in the Spanish Film Festival of Malaga where Silvia Abascal won the prize for the best Actress, Roberto Sanmartin won the prize to the Best Supporting Actor Cast, Macarena Gómez won the prize for The Best Supporting Actress and Lorenzo Caprile won the award for the Best Costume Lorenzo Caprile. Silvia Abascal was nominated for the Goya 2007 in the category of 'Best Actress'. The costumes of Caprile have been one of the attractions of the film, as well as the shoes by Pura Lopez the designer from Alicante.
