"Theresa: The Body of Christ" recreates the life of Saint Theresa of Ávila. The films boasts the participation of director, filmmaker, scriptwriter and writer Ray Loriga. The actresses Paz Vega and Leonor Watling stand out for their roles as Teresa and Guiomar, respectively. The Valencian production company, Trivisión, and the Spanish, Iberoamericana Films, participated in this film, in collaboration with Future Films (UK) and Artedis (Francia). Its national premiere was held in Alicante, with Paz Vega and the film's producer in attendance.
